UK authorities should consider fitting 15 million homes with hydrogen ready boilers by 2035 as part of its overarching net zero strategy, a gas trade body argues.
The Energy and Utilities Alliance (EUA), which advocates for a continued role for gas heat in the UK through switching from natural gas to hydrogen boilers, made the calls following the COP27 International Climate Change Conference.
